Davis Malcolm…I look at you every day and think, “There is no way he is ten months old!” It has been the fastest ten months of my life, and I still feel like we’ve had you forever. You’ve always been our baby. This month has been a big one! You had your first Easter, you learned to walk, and you kept us so, so busy.
At the beginning of this month, you were still cruising, but it was fast and furious. About a week in, you threw caution to the wind and set yourself free! You are all over the house (and yard…and furniture). Every time you’ve learned a new skill, it has only taken you about 1.2 days to totally master it. As soon as you learned to walk, you also figured out how to turn around, squat, stop, and dance. Busy.
You have been all about Daddy this month (and every month). Now that you’re truly mobile, you follow him everywhere. These past few sick days (HFMD…boo) at home have been all Daddy all the time, and you are getting so spoiled! When he leaves the room, you follow him. If he shuts the door, you bang on it. If he leaves the house, you sit at the door and cry and wait. I love how much you love him!
This month was your first Easter! We celebrated at the Ballpark, and you had such a big time! When we picked you up from nursery, they told us that you are very active…all the other babies took a nap…you did not. Busy.
Also, you will be wearing that suit until you are 12.
Length: You still feel so long to me. You’ll probably be taller than me by next week.
Weight: As of Monday, 21.5 lb.
Head: So big and heavy and hot and sweaty
Eating: 8 oz. at 6 a.m., 10 a.m., and 6 p.m. with a small cup of formula or water at 2 p.m. We haven’t had any baby food this month! You love pasta, grits, all vegetables (GREEN BEANS), strawberries, pears, puffs, yogurt melts, applesauce, chicken (SO. MUCH. CHICKEN.)
Sleeping: Same as always – 7ish to 6ish with one or two naps
